Face massage the doors to the soul.
There are a few types of face massage. They all have cosmetic and health benefits and are a great way to relax.
They can work much better than many cosmetic treatments. They work wonders not only for your look but also well-being. Face is like a map. It shows all emotions. Depending on what we do and in what position, facial muscles tense or stretch, and wrinkles or swelling can become visible on our skin. Appropriately selected face massage can reduce the imperfections. It also works for your soul. There are many energetic points on face and a good massage therapist knows how to use them. The patient can relax, unwind, calm down and recharges. Sometimes the feeling may be so intense that a patient starts cry, lough or may fall asleep. These are all natural reactions to the healing touch.
The power of touch. More than knowledge of human anatomy and massaging skills, the touch is the most important factor. A contemporary, overworked man has less and less time for themselves and their loved ones. Whatever they may say, we all need the soothing touch. Physical contact relaxes us, makes us feel better, helps forget about our daily problems. It is very visible just after the massage session. The clients more and more often request for cosmetic treatments to be performed manually, without use of any equipment. They subconsciously look for physical contact with another human being, positive one…
Everything in moderation face massage should not be too long. Classic face massage should take up to 20 minutes. If the session is too long, the body adjusts to the therapist touch, and that may feel uncomfortable. It should be never forgotten during various cosmetic treatments. If it is performed before applying a face mask or a serum it strengthens the cosmetic effects, which is better absorbed, both by skin and face muscles.
Face massage can be done at home, during morning or night routine, i.e. washing, removing make up or applying face cream. When we massage our face, we need to remember to do it along the face muscles, not across them, not to stretch the muscles and skin. For example, removing eye make up we should start around the eye, from the inner corner; cheeks- from nose outwards, towards temples; lips from the middle upper lip towards the corners, along the lips. These are all very simple tips, all you need to do is just remember and apply them in your daily routine.
Face massage can be given to anyone, regardless of their age. Regular treatments are a guarantee of long lasting effects. The frequency depends on individual needs. The only condition when it is not recommended is skin irritation. It is not recommended on inflamed skin.
