Ma uri Massage
Ma uri massage comes from the Polynesian system of healing used in New Zealand by Tohuns – Maori experts of the healing, art of massage, ritual and living in harmony with nature. Ma uri in the Maori language means “descendants of White Light” and refers to the legend of their arrival on Earth from a distant galaxy Pleiades.
Ma uri massage is a very effective therapy, in which elements of the ancient knowledge of healing have been adapted to the needs of modern man. Through specific body massage, using the energy of Polynesian dance and music, massage therapist becomes a “tool” introducing the massaged person on the path of personal transformation – positive changes leading to improvement of health, relationships with other people, the environment and oneself. The massage uses specially selected music that sets a rhythm, energy and extraordinary atmosphere in the work with person undergoing the massage.
The body of the client is treated with the utmost respect as the “temple of the spirit.”
This approach is felt by the customer during the therapy in every touch, putting away the arm or leg, manipulating the towel (only the part of the body that is currently being massaged is uncovered).
Pleasant, smooth, soft and natural touch used in massage gives a massaged person a time and space for himself, opens the possibility of establishing lost contact with the inner self and restore the proper flow of energy through the body.
